Japan Review is the International Research Center for Japanese Studies’ refereed English-language journal. Full-text articles are available from 1990 -present.

JSTOR Asian Studies Collection
Full-text articles from journals in Asian Studies, including the Journal of Japanese Studies, Japanese Language and Literature, the Journal of Asian Studies, and may others.

Library of Congress: Country Studies – Japan
This volume is one in a continuing series of books prepared by the Federal Research Division of the Library of Congress under the Country Studies/Area Handbook Program. Has chapters on Japan’s economy, history, society, environment, education, the arts, the political system, foreign relations, national security. Includes an extensive bibliography of other information sources.

Nihon Kenkyu
All articles are full-text. “A Japanese-language journal of articles by Nichibunken faculty and team research project participants. Published biannually since 1989, Nihon Kenkyu is the primary scholarly journal of the International Research Center for Japanese Studies.”
