In Dean’s own words:

For the past five years, I have spent much of my free time modifying, re-building, and riding motorcycles. The most enjoyable experiences of my riding career have been long rides I’ve taken to various places on continent done at a near non-stop pace. In this talk, I will discuss the world of competitive long-distance riding, including the types of people (and their motorcycles) that participate in this activity, and strategies involved in competition. I will also describe some of the 1000+ mile days I’ve spent riding a 600cc Yamaha sport-bike.

The Albion District Library now offers downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, music, and video from OverDrive! Anyone with a valid Albion College card is eligible to apply for an Albion District library card. With just your library card and an internet-connected computer, you have access to over 3,200 downloadable audiobooks, 2,000 eBooks, and 100 downloadable videos. The District Library is located downtown at 501 S. Superior.

On Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 6:30 p.m, the Albion District Library is offering a free class that will help you learn the basics of browsing, downloading, transferring, and burning digital materials from OverDrive.  Basic computer and internet experience recommended.  Participants are invited to bring their personal laptops and/or MP3 players.
