Hello all. This will be my active blog during my internship at the Heritage Foundation in Washington D.C., and I hope you choose to follow my “adventures” during this period.
I will be blogging about my experiences at the Foundation and also (hopefully) posting some pictures of me in the Capital. For those who don’t know I will be interning at the public policy think-tank, Heritage Foundation, from September – December as an accounting intern. Now as much as I hate enjoy accounting, I will try to experience all aspects of working for a renown public policy influencer and perhaps even write some articles if the opportunity presents itself. This Fall will most certainly be an active one at the Capital and I am extremely excited to be right in the thick of things as they happen. No more just reading about it, I’ll be a part of it.
The Family and I are planning to leave on the 11th so I can move in early on the 12th, and also so we can partake in the protests ‘demonstrations‘ occurring that day. One of the coolest parts of this internship is that I’ll be staying in their internship housing right next to the Foundation, a mere two blocks from the Capital building.
