Town & Gown 8: Mary Brown Lenardson, ’85

This week’s edition of Town & Gown features Mary Brown Lenardson, a 1985 graduate of Albion College who lives in the community and participates in the local Albion Alumni Chapter. Mary has a strong family connection to Albion, with both of her parents and her daughter Julie graduating from Albion, and stayed in town because of those family ties.

Mary talks about the alumni chapter activities, the changes in town since she went to school here, and finding her first hometown.

Town & Gown 6: Carles Sommerour, ’16

Carles Sommerour, a senior Communication Studies major at Albion College, grew up in Albion, and decided to stick around town and attend college after making a connection with Albion students.

Carles worked with the seven Build Albion Fellows students over this past summer, and thinks a lot about how to make his hometown better. He talks about all that, as well as his desire to stick around and continue to help Albion even after he graduates.
